No New Subdivisions and Districts in Azad Kashmir

There was a demand of New District from Hajeera and Abbaspur. According to sources this announcement of New District was cancelled by interruption of President Sardar Yaqoob Khan.

Just one day before a public meeting in Hajeera, PM and President along with Speaker AJK Assembly decided in a meeting in Islamabad to cancel announcement of New District.

Prime Minister Abdul Majeed announced in this meeting that “No New Subdivisions and Districts in Azad Kashmir”. But within 24 hours PM Abdul Majeed announced New Subdivision in Haveeli District on Anniversary of Mumtaza Hussain Rathore.
