An old man Iftikhar Ahmed reached Chowk Shaheedan in Mirpur Azad Kashmir to sell his one eye. He had a placard in his hand to donate his eye because he has return the money back he borrowed. Many people gathered to enquire about the matter. He told he had come to sell his eye because of poverty, starvation and unemployment. He said “I was a PWD employee for 15 years but was forcefully fired with any reason, I am unemployed now”.
He further told that “my daughters are young and persons whom I have to return loan kept a bad eye on my daughters”.
He threatened “I will kill myself if Government with slogan ‘Rooti Kapra Makkan’ could not solve my problem.”
