13th Death Anniversary of Mumtaz Hussain Rathore( Former Prime Minister of AJK Government) was organized by PPP AJK in Pullangi Haveli District of Azad Kashmir. Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Ch Abdul Majeed, Senior Minister of Azad Kashmir Ch Yasin and many other Ministers attended this ceremony.
PM Abdul Majeed said in his address that Raja Mumtaz Hussain Rathore was my close companion in political career. We spent time together in Government, Opposition and even in Jail too. His son Faisal Mumtaz Rathore is not only a Minster of AJK Government but he just like as my own son too.
PM said Mumtaz Hussain Rathore inaugurated 30 Crore Rs Projects in Mirpur during his government in 1990 and today I came here to give return of that day.
He called upon people in the meeting and said “People of Haveeli can ask for anything today and I will give them”.
He announced Pullangi as Subdivision and named it after Mumtaz Rathore.
Furthermore he named District Head Quarter Hospital Haveli with Benazir Bhutto Shaheed’s name.
Upgraded Pullangi Girls Middle School to Inter College and name it after Mumtaz Hussain’s Mother Name Shahjahan Begum.
Boys High School was also upgraded and named after Bilawal Bhutoo.
He also announced that he will fullfill all demand of Faisal Rathore for this area.
Senor Minister Ch Yasin addressed this meeting and said Mumtaz Rathore was Bhutto of Kashmir and announced 10 Lack Rupees from Local Government AJK.
