Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s wife and former First Lady Bushra Bibi was arrested after surrendering to authorities in Adiala Jail.
Bushra Bibi arrived in a black vehicle at Adiala Jail minutes after the accountability court announced its verdict sentencing her to 14 years in prison in the Toshakhana case.
She had not been present in court when the verdict was announced.

The accountability court sentenced Imran Khan and Bushra Begum to 14 years in prison in the Toshakhana Case on Wednesday.
Both Imran and Bushra have also been disqualified from holding public office for 10 years. The couple have also been fined Rs787 million in the case.
Judge Muhammad Bashir announced the verdict early on Wednesday in Adiala Jail. However, Bushra Begum did not attend the proceedings.
